Karachi Transport Update: Three New Routes Launched by People’s Bus Service

The People’s Bus Service announced on Friday the launch of three new routes in Karachi to enhance public transportation for city residents.

According to the Sindh Transport Department, Route-13 will begin operations from Hawke’s Bay to Tower starting on July 22. Additionally, Route-12 will be extended to run from Quaidabad, Korangi, and Memongoth to Tower, commencing on July 23.

A new electric bus route, EV-4, will operate from Bahria Town to Exhibition Chowrangi starting July 24. Furthermore, Route-8 will run from Yusuf Goth to Tower, beginning on July 25.

Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon stated that these new routes are part of the Sindh government’s initiative to improve public transport in Karachi. The goal is to provide affordable, convenient, and comfortable travel options for citizens.

“More buses and routes will be introduced to ensure the convenience of the public,” he said. “The Sindh government is committed to serving the people without discrimination.”
