Karachi Police Introduces Women Officers Bike Patrols for City Safety

Taking a progressive stride towards bolstering mobility and efficacy, female officers of the district police in Karachi have embarked on motorcycle patrols. Drawing inspiration from their counterparts in the traffic police, these officers are now actively engaged in field operations astride motorcycles.

This endeavor, spearheaded by DIG Traffic Ahmed Nawaz Cheema, is geared towards empowering women police officers from District South and City with the necessary skills to navigate the city’s intricate streets and execute raids with greater efficiency. The officers underscored that utilizing motorcycles enables them to navigate through congested areas and evade larger vehicles such as buses and trains, thereby augmenting their operational range and ensuring their safety.

This development mirrors a broader trend in Pakistan where women are progressively excelling across various domains. The introduction of motorcycle patrols for female officers not only amplifies their operational prowess but also signifies their burgeoning presence and significance in upholding law and order in the nation.
