Security Guard Fatally Shoots TikToker Over Filming Incident in Karachi Serena Mobile Market

In a tragic event in Karachi, a young man making a video for TikTok was shot and killed by a security guard. According to ARY News, the incident occurred near Sereena Mobile Mall in the Buffer Zone area, involving a 35-year-old security guard named Ahmed Gul and the 24-year-old victim, Saad Ahmed.

Police reports indicate that the altercation began when Ahmed Gul confronted Saad Ahmed, who was recording a TikTok video. The security guard, who is employed by a private security company, reportedly stopped Saad and subsequently opened fire on him. The shooting took place within the jurisdiction of the Taimooria police station.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central stated that the security guard has been arrested and the weapon used in the incident has been recovered. During the initial interrogation, Ahmed Gul claimed that Saad Ahmed was making gestures toward him while filming, which led to the fatal shooting.

The incident has sparked outrage and concern over the safety of individuals engaging in social media activities in public spaces.
