BISE DG Khan Matric Inter SSC HSSC Board

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) DG Khan is one of the prominent educational boards in Pakistan, established to regulate and promote quality education at the secondary and intermediate levels. Located in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, it serves multiple districts, including Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, and Layyah. Since its inception, BISE DG Khan has played a crucial role in conducting fair examinations, updating curricula, and ensuring transparency in academic assessments. BISE DG Khan was established in 1989 to cater to the growing educational needs of southern Punjab. Before its formation, students in this region had to rely on Multan or Bahawalpur boards, which created logistical challenges. The board was founded under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act to streamline examinations and improve educational standards.

The primary responsibility of BISE DG Khan is to conduct SSC (Secondary School Certificate) and HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) examinations annually. It ensures that exams are held fairly, results are compiled accurately, and certificates are issued promptly. Additionally, the board is responsible for registering affiliated schools and colleges, developing examination schedules and syllabi, implementing policies to prevent cheating and malpractice, and conducting supplementary exams for failed candidates.
