An international flight from Muscat to India had to make an emergency landing at Karachi airport due to a passenger’s worsening medical condition.
The flight, operated by a foreign airline, was en route to Calicut International Airport in Kozhikode, Kerala, when the incident occurred.
Sources reported that an Indian national on board experienced a sudden and severe medical issue, prompting the flight crew to request an emergency landing at Karachi. With over 150 passengers on board, the flight safely landed at Karachi airport under the medical emergency protocol.
Upon arrival, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Federal Ministry of Health were alerted and instructed to be on standby. Medical teams were prepared to address the urgent situation and provide necessary assistance to the affected passenger.
