Intermediate exams under the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) are currently in progress. This morning, Pre-Engineering and Home Economics students will sit for their Physics exam, while in the afternoon, the General Group will take their Mathematics exam.
BIEK Chairman Naseem Memon has announced that Section 144 has been imposed at all examination centers. Photocopy shops around the examination centers will remain closed during the exams. He also mentioned that any mobile phones brought to the exam centers would be confiscated.
The imposition of Section 144 aims to ensure a fair and secure examination environment, preventing any malpractice and ensuring that the integrity of the exams is maintained.
