Karachi Commissioner Cracks Down on Illegal Cattle Markets

Responding to complaints from residents, Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hasan Naqvi, took decisive action on Thursday against an illegal cattle market operating in the Burns Road area, as reported by ARY News.

Commissioner Naqvi’s intervention led to the arrest of the owner running the unauthorized cattle market. Following this action, Naqvi has instructed all Deputy Commissioners (DC) to immediately address any illegal cattle markets in their districts. He emphasized that any market operating without the Karachi administration’s permission is considered illegal and will face stringent measures.

Traders have been warned against setting up markets without proper authorization to avoid similar enforcement actions. This crackdown is part of a broader effort to regulate market activities in the city and ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
