In a heartfelt gesture ahead of Eid ul Adha 2024, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has unveiled a special initiative aimed at bringing joy to orphaned children and those whose guardians have been victims of robbery.
During his visit to the Sohrab Goth welfare trust office, Governor Tessori announced that sacrificial goats would be distributed to deserving recipients. Additionally, two camels will be donated for “Ijtamai Qurbani” (collective sacrifice), promoting a sense of community and compassion.
Camel Meat Distribution
Under this initiative, goats will be distributed to children who have lost their parents or have been affected by robbery. The Governor also revealed plans to sacrifice 100 camels during Eid, with the meat being distributed among orphans, ensuring they too can enjoy the festive occasion.
The distribution of goats will begin three days before Eid, allowing enough time for preparations. If Eid is on June 17th, the process will start on June 14th. Governor Tessori emphasized the importance of this initiative and outlined the eligibility criteria.
