Revised Electricity Rates Announced for Karachi Residents

KARACHI – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has announced an increase in electricity prices by Rs10.01 per unit for Karachi consumers due to fuel cost adjustment. This additional amount will be collected over the next four months – June, July, August, and September 2024 – as per the regulatory authority’s notification. Lifeline customers will be exempt from these increases.
