Zoology Paper Leak in Intermediate Exams: Examiner Confesses

A female examiner in Karachi has confessed to leaking the Zoology paper for the second year’s intermediate exams. The examiner, who is affiliated with the Government Degree Girls Arts and Commerce College, admitted her involvement and expressed regret for her actions to the Chairman of the Board of Intermediate Examination, Karachi (BIEK).
In her apology, she clarified that the college staff was not involved in the Zoology paper leak and took full responsibility for the incident, acknowledging it as her mistake. She sought forgiveness and assured me that she would avoid such misconduct in the future.
The BIEK chairman confirmed that appropriate action would be taken against the examiner per the rules and regulations governing exam conduct. This incident follows earlier statements from BIEK’s Controller of Exams, Zarina Rashid, who expressed disappointment over the leak. Rashid highlighted that despite several measures taken to prevent cheating, the paper leak issue persisted. However, the use of watermarks on question papers provided evidence that helped trace the source of the leak.
This development underscores the ongoing challenges in maintaining the integrity of the examination process and the need for stringent measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
