Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui returned to Karachi after meeting her sister Aafia Siddiqui, who is imprisoned in the United States. Speaking to the media at Karachi Airport, Fauzia Siddiqui mentioned that Aafia was weaker than the last time she saw her, revealing that she had bruises on her head.
She described the meeting, stating they screamed for three hours with a glass barrier between them. Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui recalled that during the previous meeting, they lost the key, and this time the phone was not working. After taking Aafia, they left me there, she added.
Furthermore, Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui mentioned that their lawyer has traveled to Afghanistan for further investigation. She also stated that the family who had kept Aafia safe had been found.
