Karachi Gas Supply Interruption Scheduled for June 23: Key Areas Affected

KARACHI – On Sunday, June 23, the gas supply in several parts of Karachi will be suspended for 12 hours due to the installation of a new pipeline, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced on its website.

The suspension, set to last from 8 AM to 8 PM, is necessary for the connection of a newly laid 20-inch diameter, 9 km gas distribution pipeline running from Azeempura to Jam Sadiq Bridge at two key points.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to prepare for the interruption by planning their activities accordingly. SSGC is working to ensure the maintenance is completed promptly to restore the gas supply as soon as possible.
