In a recent update, the prices for the Suzuki Alto in Pakistan have been revised for July 2025, reflecting the new withholding tax (WHT) rates. This change comes as part of the latest fiscal policy adjustments, impacting both filers and non-filers.
The updated prices for the Suzuki Alto variants are as follows:
- Alto VX: PKR 2,342,655 for filers, PKR 2,365,965 for non-filers
- Alto VXR: PKR 2,708,353 for filers, PKR 2,747,065 for non-filers
- Alto VXR-AGS: PKR 2,908,470 for filers, PKR 2,937,410 for non-filers
- Alto VXL-AGS: PKR 3,060,225 for filers, PKR 3,090,675 for non-filers
The revised WHT policy now bases the tax on the vehicle’s invoice price rather than engine size. This means that for the Alto VX, filers will pay an additional PKR 11,655, while non-filers will pay PKR 34,965. For the Alto VXR, the WHT is PKR 13,535 for filers and PKR 40,065 for non-filers. The Alto VXR-AGS will have a WHT of PKR 14,470 for filers and PKR 43,410 for non-filers. Lastly, the Alto VXL-AGS will see a WHT of PKR 15,225 for filers and PKR 45,675 for non-filers.
These updates ensure that the Suzuki Alto remains a competitive and attractive option for car buyers in Pakistan, offering a blend of modern aesthetics, impressive performance, and now, clear pricing distinctions for filers and non-filers.
