In an exciting event in Karachi, over 40 donkey carts raced from ICI Flyover to the Commissioner’s House. The star of the event, a donkey named Bijli, captured the audience’s admiration with its impressive speed, clinching the victory.
Karachi Commissioner highlighted that this race marked the beginning of the city’s sports festival. Speaking to the media, Mayor Murtaza Wahab emphasized that the event aimed to provide entertainment for the underprivileged. He noted the longstanding tradition of donkey cart racing among the city’s older residents.
Mayor Wahab also proposed incorporating poetry and other cultural programs to offer affordable entertainment options for Karachi’s citizens.
