Prime Suspect in Itteqa Moin Murder Case Escapes Custody During Court Appearance

In a surprising turn of events, Zahir, the main suspect in the murder of gold medalist Itteqa Moin, has escaped police custody during a court appearance, as reported by ARY News on Monday.

Zahir was brought before the court in connection with the murder case, but managed to flee during the proceedings. Initially arrested in Balochistan, Zahir was being transported to the court when the escape took place. Authorities have linked Zahir to the notorious Khuzdari group.

Efforts are currently underway to recapture Zahir, with a thorough investigation into the circumstances of his escape. Zahir was arrested by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Police from Balochistan, after being identified as a suspect in the fatal shooting of Itteqa Moin during a robbery in Karachi.

Sources indicate that the CIA apprehended the suspects after they fled to Balochistan following the murder of Moin, a 27-year-old gold medalist mechanical engineer and Hafiz-e-Quran, who was killed in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on June 1.

The police are gathering criminal records of the arrested suspects. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Adil Chandio revealed that significant evidence has been uncovered in the case. According to SSP Chandio, the suspects are well-trained, and their network has been identified. The arrested individuals are also implicated in numerous car and motorcycle thefts in Karachi, selling the stolen vehicles in Balochistan.
